EU Parliament`s Rapporteur for Albania visits UAMD

“I’m proud of you! I am happy that through the tools and opportunities it is offering, the European Union is making a difference in Albania.” This is how the Rapporteur of the European Union expressed herself for Albania. Mrs. Isabel Santos, had a meeting with students of the program “Multimedia and Digital TV” and academic staff at Aleksandër Moisiu University. Mrs. Santos, accompanied by representatives of the EU Delegation in Tirana, was hosted at a meeting by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Kseanela Sotirofski, where she discussed the internationalization of the university. Mrs. Santos and the team accompanying him were happy about visiting a university that is the leader in two EU projects, DiMTV and VTech, and offered administrative assistance for future applications. The delegation then had a visit to the Multimedia Lab, funded by the Erasmus program+, where they talked to staff and students. The meeting emphasized the EU’s valuable assistance to increase staff capacity, scientific research, and benefits that the entire student community and the city have had from EU projects.
