Professional Master Curriculum in the MDTV study program

The unique MDTV study program in Albania offered by UAMD under the Department of Information Technology is the only one that can provide human resources in the field of multimedia to cover labor market needs. This study program has an impact on the increase of the number of experts and professionals in the field of multimedia. Furthermore, to increase the employment of the students according to the recruitment prerequisites by many institutions and enterprises in Albania, it was necessary and mostly a criterion to have a second cycle studies diploma degree.

After 3 EU study visits of each partner institution, discussions and visits to their premises, all the WBs representatives got knowledge on know-how from the best practices to implement successful study programs. Based on these reasons, the Department of Information Technology decided to open a Professional Master in MDTV with three profiles as Image Processing, Production and Post-production, and 3D Animation. The new curriculum was developed after a close collaboration of the EU partners based on their expertise and the consultation with the industry experts. Th new PM curricula is innovative, meet European standards, provide quality assurance and academic sustainability.

The Professional Master in “Multimedia and Digital Television” started after a successful implementation in the academic year 2018-2019.
