3 September, 2021Report on the update of syllabuses in MDTV Bachelor and PM study programs
As one of the specific objectives of the DiMTV project, curriculum and syllabuses design, plays a key role in the Multimedia and Digital Television study program. After 3 years of the DiMTV project implementation, it was necessary to further review and improve the course syllabuses for both bachelor and professional master study programs.
The review and updating of syllabi by EU experts were done based on the topics covered in the courses, the purpose, and objectives of the courses, the practical classes in the laboratory, and the flexibility offered. Also, the updates in the topics were made to adapt to the latest technological developments in the field of multimedia. Most of the revised and updated course syllabuses are related to the characterizing courses and related to multimedia.
In the framework of the meeting at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, on September 01-03, 2021, and the proposals of the EU partners from Faculty of Electrical Engineering Ljubljana, Technical University of Ostrava, FEECS, University of Tartu, Estonia, syllabuses of two of the study profiles in the master “Production and postproduction” and “3D Animation” and some of the bachelor syllabuses were revised and updated.
