In UAMD during 26-29 April 2019, was organized student training about animation in Blender software for 3D modelling. During the training, Klemen Pečnik and Žana Juvan instructed students about the steps of character modelling and then rigging. Students followed step-by-step the example given by the lecturers, giving to them a guided opportunity for growth in practical knowledge. Animation is a very demanding and competitive discipline in the field of multimedia. Then to students were given some projects to work individually to perfection the gained knowledge. Such experience helped students to better understand the principles of animation applied to character motion and locomotion. Students use segmented characters in separate exercises to learn the concepts of balance, weight, the center of gravity, posing, shape reversals, anticipation, motivated action, secondary action, reaction, silhouette, twinning, and staging. Also, students learned how to make characters move with more weight, solidity, and believability in action scenarios.
